Welcome to AFP Memphis 

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is the professional association of individuals responsible for generating philanthropic support for a wide variety of nonprofit, charitable organizations. Founded in 1960, AFP advances philanthropy through its more than 30,000 members in 227 chapters throughout the world. 

The Memphis Chapter was founded in 1985 and currently represents over 150 members.

The Associate Director, Organizational Advancement will work with Memphis leadership and staff, development leadership, and other staff to initiate, plan, and manage efforts in the communities serviced by the Memphis office to realize fundraising goals, utilizing donor research and cultivation, gift solicitation, community outreach, and benefits/events. She/he is responsible for all development efforts and revenue; supports advisory board activities; and works to build the pipeline of annual and capital giving donors to ensure a growing stream of revenue.
