Campaign Associate

Lausanne Collegiate School is embarking on its most ambitious capital campaign in its 90-year history and is looking for a bright, energetic and knowledgeable individual to help coordinate the complex strategies that a campaign of this nature requires. This is a full-time, 12-month administrative position that will last for the duration of the campaign and reports directly to the Assistant Headmaster for Development. 

Duties

Project Management - In conjunction with and at the direction of Assistant Headmaster for Development, Capital Campaign Steering Committee, Development Staff and Campaign Consultant

  • Implementing campaign strategy 
  • Managing campaign volunteers and activities in accordance with the Campaign Plan
  • Preparing materials for prospect meetings including profiles for each prospect

Administration - Assist the Assistant Headmaster for Development with

  • Coordinating/scheduling meetings
  • Creating prospect/solicitation spreadsheets and monitoring asks, pledges, and recognition
  • Tracking and inputting prospect notes and contact reports
  • Keeping minutes of campaign meetings

Communications

  • Assisting in the development of a campaign case statement, campaign brochures, campaign collateral, presentations, donor proposals, acknowledgements
  • Coordinating Campaign Communications plan, including social media posts, email newsletters and mailings

Stewardship

  • Establishing, managing, and implementing stewardship activities including directing stewardship events, coordinating signage, producing written reports to donors and other appropriate activities
  • Developing and managing a reporting system for ongoing campaign stewardship activities 

Special Events

  • Coordinating cultivation activities and special events
  • Arranging all hospitality details
  • Developing invitation lists and monitoring RSVP’s
  • Ensuring all necessary presentation materials are in place, etc.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Fundraising software training and proficiency preferred
  • Up to four years’ experience in a position of similar responsibility in a non-profit setting desirable
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office
  • Accurate keyboard skills and a high degree of attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills: able to work as part of a team and to interact effectively and professionally with other departments
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • React to constantly changing situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility to work evenings and weekends
